Profile Nudge Please.

Hi
Yet again my PN profile is not updating as it should with the 21cn.
My current PN profile was set 3 router resyncs ago. It has therefore not updated with the last 2 syncs.
Please can it be nudged back up please.
When will this issue of updating be resolved. I am gobsmacked that the BT and PN systems can talk to each other and instantly nudge the PN profile down.......why, why, oh why can't they do the same in nudging it back up?

Many Thanks
Alex Crazy

Re: Profile Nudge Please.

How long will it take to take effect after being manually adjusted upwards?
I only ask because it has been 3 hours and dl speed has not increased at all yet?

Re: Profile Nudge Please.

Hi Alex,
Your line is currently banded which appears to be why you have seen no increase in your speed. I know you have mentioned that you have had a few resyncs lately, so we just need to see that your line is stable before any SNR reset can be placed.
I've also given Spencer a nudge regarding your fault ticket.

Chris
Thanks for this......hmmmmm I get the feeling of 'here we go again'...... Sad
Yup, you are right at least one resync per day at the moment if not several  Sad
Is an SNR reset the same as adjusting my PN profile to match BT's?
Is SD going to pick this ticket up?........this will please him no-end........it was a nightmare for him before! Cheesy
What does 'banded' mean?
Thanks Chris

Re: Profile Nudge Please.

I have had a response regarding the fault ticket I raised.
It says that there is an increase in 'increase in errors'  on my line. What does this mean......I have no idea.
Would a TPM and or a LAS sort this out......as I am led to beleive this is all that is left 'to do' on my line.

Re: Profile Nudge Please.

It's possible, I suspect the best thing to do would be to wait and see what's suggested on the ticket - you should get a call from one of our faults team before any engineer appointment is booked so you'll be able to discuss the options with them then.
