Problem Error Rate

That lasted a few days then a number of times I was disconnected in the evening and unable to reconnect until around midnight. I was sent a v8 to replace the v7 and that connected but that's when I noticed the vastly increased error rate. Sometimes it's like a switch is being thrown at around 7pm and for a few hours the line often becomes unusable. HEC errors now outpace CRC errors often by millions a day which explains page loading sometimes grinding to a halt.
BT have in there infinite wisdom assigned me a snr of 3 which I have to say did work OK previously but along with the increased error rate the snr now swings around 5-6.
Even when I've connected at a slower speed with a higher snr the evening error rate is still often effecting the line.
I still say this coincides with local demolition work, midpoint to my exchange, where phone poles were moved and car parks built.
Anyway would this error rate constitute a line fault?
Here's a couple of router readings. Can't say I believe them all especially the error seconds which sometimes go down drastically as well as up.
Uptime: 30 days, 5:48:01
DSL Type: G.992.5 annex A
Maximum Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 16,127 / 8,240
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 440 / 7,384

Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.5 / 20.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 23.0 / 39.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 25.0 / 3.5
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / IFTN
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 2 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 519,936 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 332,145 / NA (I assume the numbers got too big here)
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 1,281 / 8,945,879
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 1,368,653,817 / 44,302,793
Never used to get up errors.
From this morning. Had to restart a couple of times as pages were not loading again. Still slower than usual.

FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 8,591,192
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 53,990
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 48,871
That's from loading just half a dozen or so pages.
Nothing changed this end. Router still directly connected to first socket (old style no master). Can't hear any noise on the line.

As I said the line was fine at this low snr several weeks ago.

If the work is still going on I suspect that's it - I daresay there's fairly large electrical fields around some of the equipment when it's in use which would certainly cause errors and disconnections. Not sure it'd be worth raising a fault while that is ongoing to be honest, though I guess if it's scheduled to go on for a lot longer I'm not sure what other options there are.

Drops shown are generally mine today as a few of the connections made have been duds.
The few drops at night are simply because of the increased snr swing which again started at the same time as the increased error problem.
Even on that 30 day up period after 7pm for a few hours was useless every day. Strangely after around 11:30-midnight, even though the snr was still low, the line picked up and was OK???????

I would certainly say to raise a fault, otherwise you could wait for that work to finish and find out it has nothing to do with it at all.

I'll see how it goes. Low snr is not normally a problem or BT wouldn't keep dropping me back to 3.
But I guess it could accentuate a problem on a (maybe random) dodgy connection.

For example do you have Economy-7 or night storage heating that switches on at that time ?, or do you have a download server that starts up at that time to make use of your free overnight broadband period ?, or do you have anything on a timer that switches on or off then - like security lighting, or dishwasher, etc ?

What it is I have no idea. Like I said the snr swing has increased a bit. Drops at the usual time (street lights on) but that must be only part of it now as it actually rises by a few points around midnight. And you noticed the additional dip that sometimes appears around 4am.
