Re: Postini Feedback / Manage My Mail Improvements

@HPSauce
I can confirm this - the two accounts that I look after have both had spam delivery defaulted back to the spam folder (they were set to send it to the inbox).

If you select With Daily Summary Email what email address does the summary get sent to?

Re: Postini Feedback / Manage My Mail Improvements

I have received a bunch of spam (offering me degrees) which were scored 0 by postini but were not marked as spam because the sender spoofed their address as randomchars@myuserid.plus.com
Is it possible for me to blacklist everything from myuserid.plus.com and whitelist the real mailboxes? Or will this be ignored as everything (appearing to be) from plus.com is in the "Approved senders domains"  list that we won't have access to?

Re: Postini Feedback / Manage My Mail Improvements

I have had two spams this morning, both with S=0.00000 but not marked as spam.  Header below.  I think PN are not detecting the S value correctly in all instances.

@gofaster
Don't you just need to turn off your catchall or have I missed something?

This is the same as any other account notification, these will be delivered to your postmaster account.

Re: Postini Feedback / Manage My Mail Improvements

Oh drat!
I host a domain for a parent support group. I'd hoped to get the summary emailed to the co-ordinator and give her the login to the Postini message centre - just for that domain.
Don't Postini have an option to chose where the report is emailed?

Re: Postini Feedback / Manage My Mail Improvements

They do...
I will try and get a tweak in place so you get a input box when quarantine is selected (which defaults to postmater@domain), but allows you to edit it if you wish. That should do the trick Smiley
It will have to be tomorow now as im nackered, been in since 2 dont forget.

Re: Postini Feedback / Manage My Mail Improvements

Excellent!
Edit: Don't rush it - as long as we know what's happening I can cope until this can be done.

Re: Postini Feedback / Manage My Mail Improvements

Just had a thought.
Is there a way you could allow this setting to be accessible in the Postini Message Centre (thus avoiding too many changes at your end)?
Otherwise you'll have to store the setting which could be the same or different for each domain so that the current setting is displayed when someone goes back to that page.

You can only enter full email or domain addresses. (eg. test@test.com or test.com)
Wild cards cannot be used (e.g *email@spam.com or *domain.com are not valid)

So, if I add "domain.ext" (without quotes!) to the white list, will this allows messages to be received from both "anything@domain.ext" and "anything@anysubdomain.domain.ext" or do we need to added each subdomain also?  Undecided

It will allow messages to be received from both. You don't need to add each subdomain.

It's not possible to selectively lock down the other features in the Quarantine settings, so I don't think this is a viable option TBH.

Looks whitelisted to me.
