Re: Postini Email Security Trial

There's a big problem. A test email I sent from google mail to myself at username.plus.net has bounced with a too many hops error.
Now off to raise a ticket.
I've also just found the returned ticket saying that I had been put on the trial - that email also didn't arrive.
Edit: Ticket 23560641 raised

Re: Postini Email Security Trial

Welll, Well what can i say.
It seems to be really working well.
Instead of approx 10-15 pages full of unmarked spam in my inbox I have got around a page if that.
And cheking my actuall spam folder also seems to have reduced from approx 20-25 pgs a day to 2 today.
Its seems that this is well worth the wait.
Thanks PlusNet/F9
Now all we need is CritialPath servers to switch on Subject line tagging. (HINT HINT).
Thanks

Tried a hotmail to each of my addresses without success.
No NDR in my hotmail inbox yet.
Tried a mail from one of my pn accounts to the other and received that through criticalpath.
EDIT: hotmail to username.force9.co.uk just arrived

The wait 48 hours was for all DNS servers to pick up the change and hence send via Postini - in the meantime some could arrive via mx.core or mx.last
