Re: Possible stuck profile

BT are seeing re-syncs that my router is not reporting if the 8192 sync was yesterday, 31/5. My router log below shows only two re-syncs, one on 1 Jan at  9481 (actually 30 May but date wrong due to power down re-boot of router) and another at 18:46 yesterday, 31/5, at 9484 which occured automatically whilst PC was shut down. The two events at 16:11 and 21:10 yesterday the sync led on router remained on but connection led was out. In eact case I pressed the 'connect' button on the router home screen and connection was re-established without any noted re-sync.

Re: Possible stuck profile

Right.  I wonder if there was a resync and thus a different connection speed over those two disconnections.
Either way, I'm afraid that there's nothing I can do, but hopefully you'll have a slight improvement in speed in 2-3 days.

Re: Possible stuck profile

James,
Thanks for your interest. One of the reasons for my postings is to provide user trial data that I hope will help PN and BT tune/fix this new system.

Re: Possible stuck profile

James,
I recently found how to set snr margin on my Belkin F5D7633 router. This figure is now just over 6 and sync speed imeadiately set to 11,777. That was on June 4th and overnight both BT and PN profile reset to 10,000. My latest download PN speedtester results are about 9410 which represents a much highr percentage of profile speed than I was getting when this thread was started.
