Re: Portal Slow?

I thought that was normal, or do you mean even slower than normal? Tongue

Re: Portal Slow?

I've just tried it and having entered the login details I've been waiting about two minutes and it's not responding. It does seem to be just product change (the rest of the member centre is fine). I wonder if it's because it refreshes the speed estimate?
Edit: 30 minutes and still waiting

Re: Portal Slow?

Ended up rebooting PC as M$ had a queue of updates waiting.
Portal quicker but Product Change very slow. There must be an awful lot of back office stuff occurring.
Or maybe because the fibre street cabinet is only 24 hours old the system is not sure if it's there or not yet Lips_are_sealed

Re: Portal Slow?

www.dslchecker.bt.com is taking ages to respond - wonder if that is linked?

Re: Portal Slow?

Indeed it is. So we can blame BT then......as usual.

Re: Portal Slow?

If that is causing the portal to hang when you try to go in to product change there needs to be a timeout and a message to say speed estimates not available. The portal hanging because someone else's system is down is not acceptable!

No it shouldn't we'll certainly be looking at that.
