I think I've sorted this now. You should see your new speed in the next few minutes.
@jelv, great spot. I never thought of looking at that as before the upgrade the profile was fine, but I've just logged into to my VPN and found that since the upgrade his account was showing no speed profile so he would have got 'not set' as the result of your link. Cheers for that.

It's always worth looking at the current line speed after an account change - apart from it happening like this time I've also seen it forced to 2MB (it's possible that's the default speed if it isn't set which would explain the speeds seen this time).
