Plusnet Supplied modem problem

Hi
I am having a strange problem using the netgear supplied router from plus net. I only use it as a modem and dmz everything to my server which handles firewall etc.
But once a month the internet will stop working and every webpage will redirect me to a netgear traffic management page however this is blank. The only way to fix this is by restarting the router. Is there a fix for this?

Some Netgears have a DNS problem that's solved by manually entering the DNS IP addresses instead of leaving set to Auto.
