Plusnet Line Speed v IP Profile

This may be me showing my ignorance here - my router is synced at 8128 and my profile on the BT Speedtester shows 7150.  However my linespeed on the plusnet website is showing as 6.5 mb.
Is this correct for my profile or should it be higher?

Current line speed in the Member Centre should change to match the BT IP Profile within 24 hours. How long is it since the BT Profile changed to 7150kbps?

i did the bt speedtest over a week ago and it was 7150

Assuming your router has remained synced at 8128kbps throughout the week it looks like the delta report to Plusnet has gone missing. You could ring the CSC and ask them to change Current line speed to 7150kbps. That might need to be done by a senior agent. When that is done your PPP connection should drop and reconnect, but sync with the exchange shouldn't be lost.

My router never syncs at anything less than 8128 so it sounds like thats whats happened.

Not sure why it hadn't changed at our end. I've changed that now, so you should see the change within the next 15 minutes.
