Plus net router login fault - http://dsldevice.lan/login.lp

Hi all
I am literally tearing my hair out with this problem. It has been on going on and off for months now and plus net support have been pretty useless with their assistance and so I would appreciate your help.
Basically we are disconnected from our Internet numerous times a day, we are redirected to the router login page in the title.
This happens to my own and my partners phones and our laptop,  we also suffer connection drops by ethernet to xbox and blu ray player.
We lose count the amount of times it happens after a couple of refreshes we can continue but when gaming and streaming it is a joke.
We have had a new router and an engineer visited us this week and installed a new filter (mk 2 I think) but it seems even worse since this installation. I am getting no where with the support team and they insist there is no problem and find no disconnections on their reports.
Thank you so much in advance for your help
I started to take screen shots on my mobile which should be attached

Didn't mean to add it multiple times trust me but blooming Internet was playing up as I was trying to write on the message board.
Couldn't find a way to delete the threads but mods go ahead.

Ok, so what does it say after you login to the router? Still connected or not?
Also try turning off browser interception, found here in the router's GUI.
That's RPM to you!!

Thank you
I don't login. Just refresh the page a couple of times and about 30secs later I can continue.
I shall try what you suggested

This suggests problems with connectivity.  I've seen this too, but nt as bad as you suggest.
Try a deliberate logon (as opposed to a redirec)  to 192.168.1.254 and extract the modem log.
When DCT are back on air, ask for a radius log graph.

Re: Plus net router login fault - http://dsldevice.lan/login.lp

Succinctly - you have a problem
You had multiple resyncs with a default 12dB noise margin
However - the fact that the resync speed is more or less the same would usually tend to indicate that there may be a faulty router but as you have already tried another one that seems unlikely
Can you try the router in the test socket - the one behind the lower removable section of the master socket
Also the three resyncs occurred within a 15 minute interval and there was another just before the start of the log
Do you have any idea if something in your property switches on at that time (about 2.00am)
Do you have a street lamp outside on a timer
Would it be fair to assume that you were all asleep at that time in the morning and that the phone didn't ring

Re: Plus net router login fault - http://dsldevice.lan/login.lp

Not aware of anything that turns on and there are no street lights outside our house.
We used the test socket for some time last year and which did improve things but meant we couldn't use the home phone. Sending about £25 a month and not getting the full use of your services is not something we are prepared to do.
I have just changed the wireless channel this morning as someone suggested that.
I am wondering whether to buy my own router to replace the technicolour one.
Thanks again

Unlikely to be the wireless as the devices are still connecting to the router to give you the login page.
More likely to be a line fault - have you tried a different microfilter and done a 17070 quiet line test to see if you have any noise on the line ?

Yes and an engineer also visited us Monday and said they couldn't find anything wrong
They installed a mk2 filter on the face plate though
Yes no noise on the quiet line test

Do you have a spare power supply to try as they can go bad?
Also is the router getting enough air to it so that it doesn't overheat?
