Thanks AO. I will publish stats when the daylight goes.
I've got the Jj11 BT adapter. Should I just leave the rouyter direct off the master or reconfig it back as was. with the BT - Rj11 inline?
Thanks again guys. I will be around a lot more tomorrow - work @ home day!!!

So then, do a graceful disconnect and power off the modem/router after a minute. Stay offline for about 10 minutes (or longer) whilst you reconfigure your wiring.
Filter into master socket. Phone into filter. RJ11/BT adapter into filter. CW1308 extension lead/splitter into adapter. Modem/router into a filter into extension socket. Splitter socket remains empty - should you ever wish to plug an additional phone into that, it MUST be via a filter.
Post up your ADSL status data before and after reconfiguring the wiring so a direct comparison can be made.
As far as the SNR Reset goes, that seems to have failed, not uncommon. Obviously Chris will look at that again.

The SNRm is still 5 now, so I guess it was a bit coincidental that it was lower when those stats were taken after dark. So stats as per last time.
Will re-do the router connections etc later this morning and hopefully Chris will be in touch re. the line and that odd up sync value,

However as expected, there is a marginal drop in sync rate because the SNRM wasn't quite upto 6 when you reconnected. No worries, it is only marginal so at least your new normal setup doesn't appear at this moment to be adding any noise problems.
So, getting an SNR Reset resolved is the next thing, and then monitor your connection.

Should I put up another thread to get the SNR reset done?

Quote from: grahamn Thanks AO.

That's always a bad idea in any event bnecause it losses the connection with the background of information leading upto the need/request for the reset.

WBC 160K - 24M No delay (INP 0) 3dB Downstream, UC No delay (INP 0) 6dB Upstream (ADSL2+)
So the upstream target is 6db.
The other option we could try is capping and then uncapping your upstream, each order for this is 24 hours.

I don't understand the implications of each option. I'm hoping to get back to where I was a few weeks back where I had 1Mbps up and about 17Mbps down on a SNRM of 3db.
Thanks.
