Re: Please post evidence of postini false positives here

hi pierre_p
sorry I didn't spot this sooner, but it's very interesting that your russian postcard was tagged as spam on 14th Jan but not on 17th....
Presumably it was the old DSPAM filter that picked it up the first time?
We may need to have postini set higher to catch stuff at S:0.51644?

You might want to mask the last two parts of your IP address in those examples.

Re: Please post evidence of postini false positives here

My Netgear router logs also go through postini, I have never had a problem, but that is my private postini account I have through my employer.
This mornings log had the following postini headers, comparing them to yours through the PN system may help.

Re: Please post evidence of postini false positives here

Yes, godsell4, but your filter at work is set at "4 (1.5000:1.5000)" whereas the plusnet filter is set at "1 (0.1500:0.1500)". Both of kreynolds' emails achieved much lower spam scores than yours, for some reason.
The good news is that plusnet-to-plusnet communications are being whitelisted and soon should start avoiding the spam filter altogether.

Re: Please post evidence of postini false positives here

only been on postini for a couple of days (as far as I can tell).  so far it is worse than DSPAM when it comes to false positives
What are PN doing about this, and is there going to be a better way of reporting these (does spam/not spam in web mail still do this or was that for dspam only?)
