Please Help: Use Technicolor TG582n as repeater with another Technicolor TG582n

I have 2 fibre router and I only use one since broadband was installed, however the wireless signal in my house is really poor and am looking to use the second router as a wireless repeater.
would this be possible such that I can access my home network and files through the repeater if possible?
I ve searched and searched but havent found anything yet. Please advice.
Thanks in advance.

This may help:

Connect the two together via ethernet cable or a pair of homeplugs.
It is possible to connect them by wireless (WDS) but this gives very poor result, I really would not recommend this method.

My home setup is:
Thomson ---> Powerline adapters ----> old router (bt home hub 3) ---> wireless network coming from bt home hub.
I guess you could do something similar, you can even get powerline adapters that are wireless now as well.
Alternatively - you could connect them via an ethernet cable as mentioned above.
