Evening Peeps
my street cabinet was upgraded to take Fibre ( yay ) but evr since my connection has been poor ever since.
My current speed taken a few days ago was
a live TBB meter looks like this
I did restart the router to see if that helped but nothing changed.
Ping is through the roof.
router settings haven't changed, details below
Uptime: 0 days, 3:21:16
DSL Type: ITU-T G.992.1
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 8,096
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/GB]: 341.25 / 2.94
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.1 / 19.9
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 11.0 / 18.5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 29.0 / 10.9
System Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / ----
Chipset Vendor ID (Local/Remote): BDCM / IFTN
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / -
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / -
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / -
Loss of Link (Remote): -
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 0 / -
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
HEC Errors (Up/Down): - / 0
can someone please check my line as its really bad just now. Online gaming is out of the question, and download speeds are not as expected. My wife has been trying for 2 days to download the latest ESO 16GB update and its only done about 3.5GB.
Thanks

I don't think there's a correlation between the two events. I suspect it is congestion at Plusnet which has been widely reported lately.

I don't think I've ever seen a minimum ping that high on a BQM.
Tests aren't showing any issues and there aren't any capacity issues reported at your exchange either.
Interleaving is applied to your line however because you have a order to move to fibre I can't place a order to turn it off via the usual means.
Let me try something else and I'll get back to you.
