Ping awful since this mornings changes

Up till this morning I was connecting to thn-ag2 with a steady ping of 12ms, I'm now connecting to thn-ag1 and it's gone up to 147ms.  Whatever you have done this morning Plusnet, I'm not impressed.

Re: Ping awful since this mornings changes

Yeah i have just come home from to find i am connected to the new gateway and it is awful. pings over the 100ms.
Not only that but my band width has gone i am on a 17000 profile but only only seeing speeds of 2000.
So thought i would jump gateways and now getting speeds of 9000 and the ping is better too but still not prefect.
What ever plusnet has done today undo it i had a great connection there for about a week now its tits up again

Re: Ping awful since this mornings changes

Plusnet seem to have been doing maintenance all day, so maybe they've fixed it.  I rebooted my router this afternoon and it connected to pcl-ag04 which is much better, unfortunately my router doesn't allow me to choose a gateway, so I'll just have to hope it doesn't switch back again.

Re: Ping awful since this mornings changes

Just rebooted the router and I'm now currently connected to the "unknown" gateway.
Speeds are back to normal now, thank goodness.

Re: Ping awful since this mornings changes

ag1 was givin me diabolical pings, reconnected to ag2, now back to normal.  Lokks like the problem is confined to ag1.
