That said, my broadband should be fixed by today. It is now 21.04 and still no word from Plusnet. Another broken promise....

Plusnet said my Broadband would be up and running no later than 9 June. If not they would get back to me.
Broadband is still not up an running and nobody has contacted me yet....

They want to make a appointment for a phone engineer to visit. At the moment the first available slot we have is Friday morning between 8am and 1pm.

Nobody has contacted me via the Plusnet website of via phone. I have no idea why. So please do book this in for me.
It would be very frustrating for you not to book this in, thereby unnecessarily drawing out this issue even longer.
There is now a chance to resolve this, let's get it done please.

I am afraid that is quite unacceptable. I will be abroad on Monday and I would not like to have to cancel my business trip for a phone engineer.
By the way, why did Matthew Wheeler use such an unconventional manner of contacting me - this forum? I do not get any notification if someone posts on this forum.
Why did he not use the Plusnet website to inform me, so I get a notification?
Do you purposefully want to draw out this issue?

I am really sorry for the inconvenience but the engineer availability just isn't available in your area until Monday now. Sadly there's no way for me to change this. If there's any way somebody could be available to give the engineer access next week then let me know and I'll arrange the appointment.
