Superzoon, you graph looks different to the others, there's no increase in the base latency (green).

Yes, you're right Chris.
Well, I think it can be discounted as part of this phenomenon, anyway; and it has been flat green since, with only the merest hint of peak time yellow.

BT are reporting that the problem was fixed on Friday evening, none of the graphs or our monitoring show a repeat of the problem over the weekend. The update from them was there was a problem with one of the core links at that node and it was out of service reducing the available capacity to that node so at peak during the week it was reaching capacity (when you look at the graphs you see that Thursday wasn't as bad as Tuesday and Wednesday because demand would be lower). They brought the core link back in service on Friday evening so it's now running at full capacity again.

dave - Thanks for the update/getting it fixed.
AAISP have set up a new page showing BRAS'/21CN exchanges with packet loss (possibly on the back of this issue?) - http://clueless.aa.net.uk/congestion.cgi This isn't info from BTW, but AAISP's own monitoring of its customers lines.
