As a part of a new home cinema kit, I installed a PS3 on Saturday. All I've done so far is watch a Blu Ray disc on it - haven't got round to setting up an internet connection on it (it's not a priority) and it's not wired through ethernet either.
Hoever, my usage this morning show a huge spike on Saturday - does anyone know if a PS3 will automatically search and connect to a (unsecured - yes, I know, sorry, but we live in the middle of nowhere so it's not been a problem to date, though I will get onto it) network? Also - what would it have been doing to rack up a high usage (about 140g) for a couple of hours? Am pretty sure I didn't connect to the internet at all otherwise on Saturday.
I will look properly at setttings on it when I get home but wondered it anyone could cast some light?
