PN Hub connected to BTHH4

It appears as others have mentioned the wireless connection on the Plusnet supplied hub is not the best.  I have connected up a BT HH4 and the wireless connection is far better. 
However with the HH$ I get slightly slower speeds which is not a big issue but the HH4 has an habit of PPoA random .disconnects.
Is it possible to use the stable modem of the PN router and lan connect this to the HH4 to get the best of both worlds?
Instructions if possible would be good too.

Hi HaresEar,
I can't vouch for the HH4 re what you've asked but disabling DHCP on our router should be the only change you'd need to make to the TG582n.
