Only getting 38Mb download on 76Mb service

I finally got my 76Mb Plusnet fibre broadband connected last Thursday (after over 2 months wait, but that's another story...). However, the maximum download speed I can get out of it is ~38Mbs. This is with my laptop connected directly to the Plusnet router via a 1m Ethernet cable, with all other connection removed/disabled.
To confirm, my broadband package details from the Plusnet website are as follows:
Plusnet Unlimited Fibre £19.99 per month
Unlimited Usage Allowance
74.6Mb download speed (estimated)
19.9Mb upload speed (estimated)
You've 17 months left of your 18 contract
Designed for demanding users
Estimated line speed: 74Mb (Download speed could vary depending on line conditions. Estimates are the maximum speeds that your phone line can support. These speeds are dependent on the package you choose.) - Checked on 2014-07-08 18:21:35
Current line speed: 40 Mb
Results from the BT Wholesale speed test are as follows:
Download speed achieved during the test was - 38.28 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 60 Mbps-77.44 Mbps .
Additional Information:  IP Profile for your line is - 77.44 Mbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 15.3Mbps
Additional Information: Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps
Thinkbroadband speed test:
Avg TBB Download: 37.6Mbs
Burst TBB: 39.8Mbps
Avg HTTPx6 Download: 37.5Mbs
Burst HTP x6: 38.7Mbs
Avg TBB Upload: 13.98Mbs
Burst Upload: 18.59Mbs
TCP Latency: 21ms
(For comparison the same Thinkbroadband test via my soon-to-be-disconnected Virgin Media cable connection results in ~60Mb download, which shows that my computer set-up can handle the higher speeds)
I signed up for (and am being charged for) the full 76Mb (i.e. 80/20) fibre service from Plusnet. The speed upload of upto 18Mb suggests the ?/20 ratio, but the download of ~38Mbs suggests a 40/20 ratio!
I've already opened a ticket via the Plusnet support page on 3rd July (ticket number #88029448) but had no response as yet. Please can someone from Plusnet investigate? Have I been put on the wrong rate or something, as currently I seem to be paying for something I'm not getting?

you need call up and get them to match the PN profile :
Quote
Current line speed: 40 Mb

to the BT one:
Quote
Additional Information:  IP Profile for your line is - 77.44 Mbps

or you can wait until tomorrow and hopefully a DCT member will pick it up.

Thanks dvorak. I'll wait to see whether a DCT member picks it up tomorrow. Failing that I'll give them a call...

That's been sorted out for you. you may need to restart the Plusnet Router (not the Openreach Modem) for the changes to take effect.
