Once again .line speed

Yesterday, a BT engineer called to inspect my line, as arranged.  Having completed his 'check' of the line , modem , filters etc etc. he said I should now be getting 3.5 mb (approx) !!  Previously 0.78KBS ( give or take. ) STILL getting a DEAD SLOW speed.. Seems  the engineer's info has been lost ?? Or has someone somewhere, got their finger stuck ??..  Paying for a service I'm not getting .

Your line is now connecting at 2755, so the profile just needed a nudge on our side. I've done that now, if you can log in to the router and press disconnect and then connect you should see an improvement.

            many thanks for the reply; At last..!  great line speed ( for me ! ) 2.2mb  I am aware that I have been 'straining at the leash' these past couple of weeks , now hopefully I can be a  'happy bunny' once again..  Cheers and best wishes
