Sorry to hear that you've been seeing issues again, does the graph below look correct to the drops you've been seeing?
<img src="http://community.plus.net/visualradius/generated/image14083551019024.png"/>
Running a quick check on the line does show that the line quality has dropped back down from Green to Amber so something has definitely been picked up. Just to clarify though, the checks didn't flag any faults so it may be worth seeing how we go with the stability of the connection.

Please let us know what you see on your side with this and we can move forward from there. The drop you saw around 11:30ish would have been me running the invasive faults checks which drops the connection on your side to test the authentication from our side.

unfortunately I cant get anything to run with this billion router I have, DLM tool will not work, and I cant seem to get routerstats to work either.
Unless anyone can offer advice, I will put the TG582n back on, so I can get some error stats, see whats going on...
Resynced again last night, around 10ish, upload reduced again to approx 380kbps!!! No noise on line again.

Are you able to get router stats to simply screen scrape the HTML stats page? Which version are you using - lite or full? Have you tried the telnet interface in the full product?

Errors seem quite low, I know line is interleaved but unsure of the depth. Its possible billion router might be going south, as a few times I had checked the stats it appeared it had done a cold reboot.

It does indeed look like it could be your Billion router giving up the ghost.
Tests are showing your connection is a lot better! Fingers crossed you've cracked it but get back to us if you have any more problems.

I will keep an eye on things, but I am positive about the outcome.
I will be a little irritated if the billion router is on its way out, I don't think its 12months old yet. I have not been particularly impressed with it to be honest....

Had routerstats running for 20mins or so, to see whats going on. Downstream SNR is pretty static, but upstream all over the place, particularly when phone is off the hook. In the attached graphs, the drops in upstream margin apart from the second smaller drop are when phone doing a quiet line test (which is totally silent). Left the phone off the hook for 3-4mins for the second drop, and margin stayed low until phone put back.
Thoughts?

But I'll be following this thread because my line behaves exactly the same way, but on the downstream noise margin.
I have a MK2 filtered faceplate but still get movement on my noise margin when the phone is in use (amongst other things!)
Note the 3 small drops of 2.5dB. Depending on the noise margin at the time the drops can vary in intensity.
P.S. The big drop at 14.15 is another visit from BTOR, not for the above reason though.

Had a PPP drop yesterday sometime, and now internet light back green again, that was a bit odd.
Anyone from COT care to comment on the noise issues?
