ORDI

Anyone care to explain what this is and how to go about it, seeing as the staff in the call centre can't be bothered to explain it.

Re: ORDI

I suspect that they might be referring to this http://www.btglossary.co.uk/index.php/ORDI_Robot .

In which case you shouldn't need to be doing anything, the call centre will initiate the request to find and correct the errors in the database

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: ORDI

ORDI is the OpenReach Data Integrity robot.

This is used by us to send information to related to a connection or address and it will go through all records their systems have in relation, it is designed to look for data discrepancies that may cause failures or orders and faults and correct these on the backend systems.

Back when I did provisioning this was one of the most useful tools around Smiley

In some instances we do have to ask customers to contact their current provider and ask them to request an ORDI submission to correct any discrepancies, unfortunately only the current line provider can do this.
