No internet light on hub

Have been away for a few days and when I got back I noticed the internet light was not in the hub. All the other lights are on.

The extent of my knowledge was to turn the hub on and off again but no luck. Any thoughts on what's wrong?

Hi @kidgorgeous , 

 

As far as we can see there is still an active internet connection and has been upload/download data transfer. 

 

Can you confirm if you are able to establish a connection to the internet?

Does your phone work?

Dial 17070 option 2, does it return te correct number and is the line quiet?

I haven't got my laptop at home but my phone says "connected no internet" and my TV won't load up I player etc.

I have no home phone to connect to the line unfortunately.

Hi @kidgorgeous

 

Did you manage to make any headway with this? I've double-checked your connection and there aren't any issues that I can see that would cause a lack of Internet access.

 

I've reset your connection from this side - if doing the same from your side (by putting a pin or similar into the reset hole in the back of the router), I'd recommend raising a fault here so that we can ask our suppliers to take a look at this for you.

Still not working unfortunately, even with a reset. Before I raise a ticket I do have two accounts with Plusnet. I still pay for the broadband at my parents house.

This is regarding the account with phone number ending***848.

Whilst testing your broadband connection we have found a fault on the phone service. This fault is the likely cause of the broadband issues you are experiencing, and must be resolved before we are able to investigate a broadband issue.

 

Your fault has now been raised with Openreach who we work with on Phone issues for further investigation.

 

They have advised an estimated response time of 03/04/19 23:59:59. This is an estimate and the issue may be resolved before this point.

 

Please be aware that although it is not required at this time, our suppliers may wish to send an engineer to the premises at a later date, we will notify you should this be the case. We will continue to monitor for updates from them and if we are able to provide an update sooner than this we will do so.

 

I've raised to ticket to your account which is where updates will be provided.
