No DSL light on but phone works ok, please help.

Got back from holiday to find that my DSL will not sync, the light does not even flash on the openreach modem.

I have been promised an engineer will visit tomorrow to asses fault, I have tested my Openreach modem at a freinds house & it synced fine. Any idea what the problem is ? Im guessing its at the cabinet.

Hi there,
I'm afraid as things stand we don't know for certain, though will hopefully know more following the engineer's visit - judging by the update on the ticket though I suspect a wiring issue between your premises and the exchange.
Hope it all gets sorted quickly for you.
