Re: New customer, speed issue.

Barry line stats are:

Upstream Rate: 448 kbps
Channel: Interleaved
Current Noise Margin: 15.0 dB (Downstream), 23.0 db (Upstream)
Current Attenuation: 44.1 dB (Downstream), 26.0 db (Upstream)
Current Output Power: 19.8 dB (Downstream), 12.1 db (Upstream)
DSLAM Vendor Information: Country: {0xB5} Vendor: {TSTC} Specific: {0x00}

I normally leave my router on 24/7, will i need to reboot a few times for the IP Profile to change?
Thanks.

Re: New customer, speed issue.

If your line is being retrained, it's worth rebooting the router once a day - usually a good time to do this is during the daytime as SNR stats often deteriorate during the evening and night-time.
Stats look good for stability though Smiley

Re: New customer, speed issue.

Jameseh, just tried some P2P downloading and it peaked at around 160kpbs, only let it download for 5 minutes, so it may go faster once it gets in its stride. I will start it again at midnight and see what its like then.
Barry, thanks, will reboot each day then. Just had to reboot now as this new router threw a fit, dont think it likes P2P  Cheesy
Its synced at 4864kbps now, so hopefully it will stay similar to this from now on.
