New customer & problems connecting

Hi new customer here
I should have been connected 21-12-12 but on the 21st i get a text saying "your broadband order has been
delayed" so i rang & they said there was a problem with the line "a block on it" or somthing like that, & that it would be on 24-12-12.
I rang on the 24th to see what time it would be on & they said it has been delayed again until 3-1-13.
Today i get another text saying "your broadband service is due to become active 8-1-13".WTF
Once again i ring & the couldnt tell me what all of the delays are for, just said it was delayed.
Can somebody from plusnet on here try to find out what the problem is please.
It feels like they dont want my custom & that they are wasting my time.
If anyone can help that would be great. Thank you.

Did you have broadband from another ISP?

Re: New customer & problems connecting

Did you take the number with you when you moved? It may still be tagged to your old ISP, which will block any new service orders.

Re: New customer & problems connecting

Was your new house previously occupied and if so do you know if they terminated all the phone services properly before they left - if they were on LLU (e.g. TalkTalk) I could see how that could cause issues.

Re: New customer & problems connecting

Unlikely to be that if they've been gone so long.
