Re: New Tecnicolor Router

Have you had connection problems recently?
Your speeds are slow because BT have set your IP Profile to 0.5Mb/s. Can you put your number in http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/ and see what it says about your estimated speeds?

Re: New Tecnicolor Router

If you post the full stats from your router - noise margin, speeds and attenuation we would have a better idea http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/dsl/dt/?ce=1&be=0&l0=1&l1=0 takes you to the right page

Re: New Tecnicolor Router

Are you connected to your master socket? Can you hear any noise like crackling or static on your phone line?
Your line is very noisy - actually off the scale. I don't think routers report anything above 63.5dB.

Re: New Tecnicolor Router

Judging by your attenuation and noise margin the speeds aren't too bad
However for some reason your default noise margin has increased to 12dB
Did you do a manual resync about 49 minutes ago or did the line just drop
