A quick question to help my case against BTOR.
I have a print of my neighbour's connection. The router is the current PN job which, unlike the 582, doesn't show the up/down legend.
Most is obvious but would someone, please, tell me which way round up & down are for:-
9. Noise margin
10. Line attenuation

That is what I was thinking - many thanks for your swift response.
My neighbour's stats:-
data rate 1231/19591
max rate 1235/20236
noise margin 6.7/3.8
line attenuation 106.19.5
I'm slightly surprised by the low SNRM though it is useful because that line, slightly longer than ours, is stable at that level whereas ours won't even connect!
