New Fibre Cable runs past my house ... any advice please?

BT contractors are installing a new fibre optic cable to hook up to a new school that is being built. The termination point (cabinet?) is within 15M of my house. I am EO.
I presume the new fibre is from Blunsdon St Andrew Exchange directly to the school, hopefully via a cabinet.
We are 28 households connected via EO and would dearly love to have FTTC or even FTTP.
Could PlusNet put any pressure on BT to hook us 28 in? Is there anyone else to whom I could appeal? Is there anything more I can do to get a connection?
I have raised a question with PN.
Many thanks!

Plusnet have no say in the matter, and have no weight in either direction.
If this feed is for the school then it will be for the school and nobody else.

What's your postcode?
Have you enquired about the superfast plans for your area?
