New Customer Router Not Required
I am intending to switch to Plusnet but don't need/want the router as I already have. Can I specify at point of opening contract to decline router? All I need is config settings.

I believe some settings on the router are 'hard wired' so that you are not able to change them as you would be able to do on your own router. Speak to technical services first as they should understand your request and offer you best help whereas sales personnel may not.
