I am getting slow speeds again, since about 17:00 this evening, it has dropped by 50% since this mornings checks.
Having checked the "service status" messages, the last one was dated 20/11/2009 which said work had been done on some re-wiring and as a consequence, speeds during the evening would improve... also it appears they were so pleased that everything was working properly they reverted to "Plan A working" for the weekend,
and a proviso...
however, today is Tuesday 24/11/2009, and no update has been posted, nor any reasons given for slow speeds this evening... ?
comments and excuses please
EDIT
I am on pcl-ag04

We will remain operating under 'Plan A' over the weekend and will review the situation again on Monday when we will provide another update.

Which I have just seen and noted..... not much good putting "sorry :'(" after the last couple of weeks problems which were supposed to have been sorted out.
Will we be only paying half (or even less) this month because we are all getting only half the speed we normally get...... I doubt it...
just done a speed check.... my line is rated at 1.8m look at this....
Date Download Speed Upload Speed
Today 20:40 341 kbps (42.6kB/s) 280 kbps (35kB/s)

I'll post the update to the main Network Capacity thread now. I would have done this earlier had the more recent problem not reared its head
Edit: now posted, I need to dash for a train now guys but will try and pop back in here when I get back home (and will keep an eye on things from my mobile).
