Netgear Router

Netgear DGN2200 Wireless-N300 ADSL Modem Router
I bought this for my adsl connection for the QoS that the plusnet router doesnt offer yet I connected it today and the internet light is solid red which means it hasnt got a connection. I have put my plusnet login details in and left the rest of the router settings default from netgear is there anything else I should change as it is quite frustrating to use the router given to me from plusnet

Re: Netgear Router

Check your adsl settings, can't remember off the top of my head what they are, check the library for generic settings.
Also make sure your user name is @plusdsl.net
Then check the log to see if the error is dsl or authentication related.

Re: Netgear Router

Hm I will check this. In regards to the DNS stuff should that be preset or allow the router to do it by default?

Library look at the top of the screen next to the Forums link.
Log is on the router web page, somewhere there will be a link to a log.
