Netgear have released updated firmware for the
DG834v3 and
DG834Gv3. The release notes and download can be reached
here.
Note that it is for the routers listed above. It is
NOT for any other DG834 product and not for use with North American or German/Austrian (Annex B) models.
Amongst the fixes are an improved DSL driver which addresses the AR7 chipset problem and a fix for the negative noise margin display problem.
It is worth noting that all of your own settings should be written down before upgrading so that they can be reloaded manually after performing a Factory Defaults reset following upgrade of the firmware as shown in the release notes.
