Nearing my usage limit

Got the warning email last night:
Quote
You're approaching your product's broadband peak-time usage allowance of 15GB for this month. We've sent you this email to help you manage your usage, and ensure you don't face unexpected charges.
There's no limit on how much you can use, but once you've used your 15GB allowance, additional usage is charged at £2 per 2GB.

Current  paid for usage stands at  12.04GB with the end of the period being this weekend
I'm on Broadband Your Way Option 2 and I didn't that the auto extend allowances were available on that product, only on Pro.

Re:Nearing my usage limit

Hi Steve,
You can (if you want to) automatically add extra usage in a PAYG fashion on BBYW.

Re: Nearing my usage limit

OK thanks, I didn't know and the email implies that it will happen automatically and that I can put a pay cap on it if I wanted.

Re: Nearing my usage limit

I thought on BBYW products it was £1 per 1GB?

Re:Nearing my usage limit

That depends on which BBYW product you are on:

Re: Nearing my usage limit

It is £1 per 1Gig but apparently I can't only buy 1 single Gig
As I've not set a price limit I presume that if I do go over 15GB then it will just bung another couple of quid on my bill?

Re: Nearing my usage limit

If you usage isn't "fixed".  If it's set to PAYG, it'll just automatically add usage.

Re: Nearing my usage limit

According to James's linky above (thanks James) you can. If the member centre isn't allowing you to, that was supposed to have been fixed

Re: Nearing my usage limit

its not if the center wont allow me to set anything, but James' clicky says £1 per Gig but the email says £2 for 2GB which implies thats the smallest chunk they'll bill in. Now this close to the end of the month I might go over a bit but probably not by 2Gig, but id they're going to charge me for 2G extra then........

Re:Nearing my usage limit

BBYW Option 2 should allow you to buy in single GB chunks. Matt's detailed the info on the linked thread.
