Why is it that a few years ago when i signed up to plusnet for a 2mb account i got 2mb, when i upgraded to an up to 8mb account i got 7.5mb and yet now i am paying more than i was for 2mb yet only getting .7mb????
I'm beginning to think theres no point in having bloody broadband any more, i may as well get one of those really cheap dial up accounts, the speed would be just as crap but at least i wouldn't feel raped every month when i pay the freaking bill!!!
I would like Plusnet to look into this problem a.s.a bloody p! Between the lousy speeds and the cutoffs several times a day the "Service" i'm receiving isn't worth a dog turd!
Buck up Plusnet or i'm cancelling my account!

Have you reported a fault and have you carried out the tests as recommended when you last had a problem http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,63981.msg515134.html#msg515134

Until the end of last year I had a "cheap" dial-up account.
The cheap dial-up was still £3 dearer than Plusnets broadband.

You can now get dial up essentially free if you pay for your calls in advance with many companies. My problem seems to be BT related, yet again they've split the bandwidth to provide for more users on my exchange instead of upgrading the exchange.
It's just so frustrating to watch my bandwidth fall every year while the price rises! I also find it annoying that because of my location (West Wales) i have to pay 30% more for my subscription than someone who is more centrally located.
Roll on the death of BT's monopoly and more, cheaper access to the telephone architecture for thier competitors!!!
Btw, instead of up to 8mbit as my account stipulates BT is capping my connectivity at 4!
