My great connection has gone pear shaped!

Up until the last couple of weeks my connection was rock solid and averaged 12mb but then I noticed the ping would shoot from 70 to 1330 and download to 0.3mb. This would only last a few minutes and then go back to normal.  I had started to raise a question with Plusnet but the problems vanished last week until today.
My speed is now 1.43mb 
According to BT my IP profile is 13.65mb so what on earth is going on?

Im getting the same m8 i should be getting near 40mb tonight im struggling to get 2mb and its very unstable.

Having the same issues as well, past couple of days it's been like treacle, did a BT test and came back with this

Logged a support ticket as up until this it's been flying

im having the same issue normally 6mb now 300kb...... just over the past couple of days

Similar results here tonight. Normally about 11 Mbps but now just less than 1 Mbps. Hope it's back to normal tomorrow.

Hi guys,
we've seen a lot of these reports over the last few days and we suspect it may be the network being out of balance. It's something that we're currently working on.

Not much better tonight. Went back up to 11 Mbps during the day but dropped to 4 Mbps in the evening then back up to 11Mbps after midnight. Exchange status checker indicates no problems.
