My Exchange has capacity issues

My download speeds are poor.
It has been confirmed that my exchange has capacity issues.
Ive been moved onto a different vitual path in the hope that it will alleviate the problem.
BT are aware of the problem, but have no date to rectify the problem.
How long does it normally take them to resolve a problem like this?
Is there any way I can expedite the resolution?
If more broadband users using the exchange complain, would that expedite things?

It wouldn't do any harm. The more people form more ISPs who complain the more likely BT are to get off their backsides and do something!
