Moving house and phone number

I am shortly moving house and phone number to rented accommodation whilst my next house is done up. The landline supplier in the rented premises is "Utility Warehouse" and not BT.  Will this prevent me from connecting with PN Broadband?  Do I need the owner of the house to switch the line to BT?

Re: Moving house and phone number

As long as this is a BT line, and the line rental resold by Utility Warehouse you will be able to order the broadband however the order for the broadband service must be placed in the name of the phone line account holder or else the order will be rejected. You will need to find out from the landlord if this is the case or not, though most likely it is.
Hope this helps,

Re: Moving house and phone number

Thanks for your reply Orbrey. I will contact the landlord. I suppose the easiest way is for the account to be transfered to my name during the period of the rental.
Regards.
