Missing graph

http://www.plus.net/support/network_performance/broadband_packets_drop.shtml
Where's the graph for pcl-ag04?
Surely you knew some weeks ago, when you placed the order for the new gateway with BT that a new graph would be required. So why wasn't the portal change ready to roll?

Re: Missing graph

I'll check on the status of this in the morning, but there was definitely a task raised to put the graph live on the same day as the pipe went live.

It's currently sat on our Gamma platform awaiting testing before it can be rolled live (ref:107248).

Hmmm, what would you suggest we change the descriptions to? There isn't really a direct correlation between those queues and the packages we now offer.

Re: Missing graph

Would it not be better if it just showed the Platinum, Gold etc with a set of links for each package saying which traffic type is in which queue?

Re: Missing graph

Just a heads up - I've got the change control for the rollout so I suspect this will be live later on this afternoon. I don't think it'll have any different descriptions to the others though, sorry Jelv.

Re: Missing graph

Thanks for the interest everyone. I'm happy to confirm that the new gateway pcl-ag04 graph is now available to see at http://www.plus.net/support/network_performance/broadband_packets_drop.shtml ;
As our Packet Drop By Gateway page is a little more complicated than our standard support articles, there are a few extra things to be tested before publishing any updates to live. We obviously want to make sure that it's showing information correctly/working properly for you guys before we hit the 'live' button.
Thanks
Nick

How about something like this?
Ignore the 'max' prefix on the legend and the 'total' queue. The vertical axis would also need converting to a percentage.

Re: Missing graph

Interesting. Would you be proposing a similar thing for each Gateway?
Edit: unless that's what you meant and the 'M' was supposed to be 'm' Wink

Re: Missing graph

Nope, that graph shows all the queues traffic is passing through.
