Messages designated as spam

When  the user indicates that a message is ‘not spam’ should the prefix
[-SPAM-} not be automatically removed from the subject line? I appear to have to rewrite the subject line when replying to such messages. Or have I missed something?

Re: Messages designated as spam

Whilst I agree with you, I find it extremely irritating as I'm getting false positives, I'm not sure how easy that would be to implement since the mail has already arrived in one's mailbox.

Re: Messages designated as spam

Once the mail's been downloaded there's nothing that Plusnet can do with it.
If you're using webmail, then they may be able to strip out the [-SPAM-] in the subject, but that might take a bit of development work - and moves Plusnets installation of Squirrelmail further from the base version making it harder to keep up to date with security advisories and the like.

Re: Messages designated as spam

There's an option in the spam settings to turn off the [-SPAM-] tagging (obviously this only makes sense if you have selected either the Move to the Spam Folder or Move to existing mailbox option).
