Hi, I just wondering what is the maximum that plusnet and bt can set the lowest snr if the customer are very stable at 3dB snr for months. As I think the maximum default of lower snr is not more than 1.5dB am I right ?

3db is the minimum and 18db the maximum target.
What happens when the noise margin drops below 3db will depend on whether the router or exchange starts seeing so many errors that a resync is initiated.

Ok, what I did is tweak it at 2.2dB and the sync speed still stay and stable and the number of errors still low. Yeah you probably right jelv that a minimum of 3.0dB is BT default target and can go all the way up to a maximum of 18dB. The lower snr, the better highest sync rate it get and depend if the line can cope with 3dB.
