Hi
I have a question about how can I match Current line speed to Estimated line speed. I'm currently on Unlimited Fiber Extra broadband.
Information from https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed says that my:
Estimated line speed: 69Mb (This may vary between 53.6Mb and 69.1Mb) - Checked on 2016-05-05 17:29:48 Current line speed: 50.8 Mb
Information from http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ says that my speeds are:
Download speed achieved during the test was - 48.41 Mbps For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 40 Mbps-50.08 Mbps . Additional Information: IP Profile for your line is - 50.08 Mbps Upload speed achieved during the test was - 11.32Mbps Additional Information: Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps
It looks to me that my line is capable of higher speeds, but for some reason IP profile is locked on 50.08mbps download speed. Is it possible to change that ?
I really would like to get the max out of my connection.

Ive been in the same boat, I had 40mb estimate and IP profile of 40mb, after 1 bt engineer visit I have 33,56mb profile.
PN say it down to bt to reset the line, but bt will say its working within estimated speed.
Also remember if you do get BT coming over to reset it can go down as well as up like mine. I lost 7mb from profile.

@otec Our tests are showing what's known as a 'Bridge Tap' on your line which can be a sign of faulty internal wiring. Is your router connected to the master socket?

I have two sockets in the house. How do I know which one is the master one ?
I moved from BT inifinity 2 that was installed to the socket where I'm connected now.
