Dear PN,
Have already reported the issue, but wanted to give some feedback.
On the 29th Sept i noticed a big drop in sync speed from 6mb down to 1mb. Over the weekend it slowly went up to 3mb.
BT have been over this morning and cannot see any issue at my end. He said he'd call me back once he's checked the exchange.
See the report below from our Netgear router. Our upload speed is about right, but our downstream is poor.
Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
WAN PPPoA 5617 6581 0 878 3248 00:27:25
LAN 10M/100M 3879 0 0 40 0 01:50:55
WLAN 11M/54M 26990 20246 0 4254 549 01:50:45
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 3066 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 34 db 8.5 db
Noise Margin 20 db 25 db
The BT Engineer suggested that a Lift and Shift might have to take place with BT Wholesale, but that request will need to come via Plusnet.
I'll let you know when the engineer calls. He did say it would only be half hour and it's been 2hrs now. It looks like they're trying something as the router sync speed dropped out not long ago.

Hi squirrel,
I'll try resetting the SNR and see if that helps. I'll let you know how it goes. If not then we can get it retested. Make sure you stay in the test socket.
