Major Disconecctions

Right now I'm undergoing a series of MAJOR disconnections.
It Is not my router that is the problem.
I've purchased another one, and both do not work.
It all happened a week ago after I downloaded 30Gigs worth in a matter of 5 days.

Sicne then browsing is becomming impossible.... ive been a loyal member since around 2002 and dont want to have to switch ISPs
any help would be appreciated Smiley

Re: Major Disconecctions

What product are you on? Is there a chance that you have gone over your product usage and are been restricted?

Re: Major Disconecctions

If you haven't enabled extra usage to be added that could well be the reason

Re: Major Disconecctions

Has your line developed a fault - are you still syncing at the same speeds and is your IP Profile still normal?

Re: Major Disconecctions

Even if you have reached your usage allowance, that isn't going to cause the connection to actually drop. Looking at the recent connection logs on your line, something is definitely not right:

Re: Major Disconecctions

Do you think I could be getting DDOS'd.. as it would be a co-incidence as someone said they were attacking me

Re: Major Disconecctions

DDOS attacks are not going to cause disconnections.

Yeah it's connected to the master socket
No we do not have any extension leads currently in use
And yes every phone socket is filtered.
But the problem persists and we keep getting disconnected, any other ideas of what the problem could be? (ADSL light on modem stays solid green at all times so it's quite confusing)
