MAC Codes

I am moving house on January and have ordered a new BB and phone service from Plusnet. In my current home my BB and Phone is provided by Virgin Media via cable. Do I need to supply a MAC code to Plusnet?
I have tried to call the Plusnet sales line and support line today and have been given wait times of 30 minutes and 60 minutes!

Re: MAC Codes

You don't need a MAC for switching from a cable service. MACs are used for switching a BT Wholesale broadband service and that doesn't apply here. Make sure you cancel your cable service, it won't happen automatically.
Are there any closed tickets or service notices on your account associated with the order (see https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=search)? You need to select an appropriate date range and click Go to see closed tickets.

Re: MAC Codes

A MAC is only needed if you are changing the service provider on an BT installed line. Neither apply in your case.
