Can't you tell when you are having your leg pulled  Jolly good job you haven't altered your Master socket too! And if that's the way you speak to, and about, forum members, you're not likely to get the help you need!

I checked out the thread as recommended by anotherone and reconnected on a different gateway ,,,,,,,  "ptw-ag03 This is located in Telehouse West."
Much better, the full 40 Megs +

mines getting 55mbits very impressed!! I am 300 m away from my cab. and 0.9 miles away from my exchange ( by walking not as the crow flies).
my ping goes up and down but I am not gaming ATM

Me too from 52 mb download to 1.5 mb.    At least with O2 I had a stable 11 mb adsl.  http://speedtest.net/result/2543689373.png ;

Glad to see I'm not alone, the last few days I've noticed my speed is 1-3Mbps, not the 68Mbps I usually get.

Actually Azure  this is ridiculous. Plusnet seem very quiet about this. I expect we'll all get a discount this month

Plusnet are NOT very quiet on this. You should always check the Service status first http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1362056380.htm

Once you have done your speediest, on the results page it says Share this result underneath download speed. It gives you a URL copy this by clicking the button next to it that says copy it should turn to copied. Then come onto the forum and paste the url, then select the url (highlight it) above the smileys on the reply box/page it has a line of icons the second one (A pic) select that it should have some thing like this [imgURLADDRESS[/img] then once posted it will display as an image.

Usenet is down a little as well. probably congestion on Plusnet's servers

hi.
i am seeing terrible speeds here tonight, normally 70 meg plus, getting 5 meg, a reboot cures it in most cases,this has been ongoing for some time now.

I'm back to 70Mbps, changing gateway seemed to do the trick (restart router and maybe the BTopenreach  modem too).
I'm on  ptw-ag02 now, not sure which one I was using before.
