Hi anyone any idea how to set this router up in basic setup ? , There is no option in Connection type for PPPOA , these are the only options.
•• Automatic Configuration - DHCP
•• Static IP
•• PPPoE
•• PPTP
•• L2TP
•• Telstra Cablee
I think these are the settings needed for plusnet below .
Connection Type / Encapsulation
PPPoA /PPP over ATM
Virtual Path Identifier (VPI)
0
Virtual Channel Identifier (VCI)
38
Multiplexing method
VC Based / VCMUX / VC-Multiplexing
•• Automatic Configuration - DHCP

I think this model is a cable router without an in-built modem for connecting to ADSL. Hence PPPoE only.
You will need to purchase a separate ADSL2+ capable modem to make this work with Plusnet (or exchange it for a modem-router).

I am a bit confused about what you are asking, or how you are connecting this device up.
This device is an ethernet or cable router, and NOT an ADSL broadband gateway.
You would typically use PPPoA for an connection from an ADSL modem to the internet over your phone line.
You would use PPPoE to connect the WAN (internet) ethernet port of the E2000 to either a cable broadband connection, or an external ADSL modem.
You cannot connect the your device directly to a BT phone line.
