Line profile

Hi,
Our exchange was just updated to support ADSL and so in prep I upgraded to plus net extra with an estimated line speed of 17mb. I checked with bt speedtested and my line profile is still set to 7.15, my question is will this change automatically or does someone need to 'force' a change?

I assume that you mean upgraded to 21CN ADSL2+ from 20CN ADSL
Unless you have been moved to 21CN you won't see any change.
Have you had an email advising the move
Have you checked the sync speed from your router

Unless you have been moved to 21CN you won't see any change. I assumed changing product with initiate that given the order said 17mb and not the previous 7 I was on.
Have you had an email advising the move - Order email to confirm estimated speed of 17mb
Have you checked the sync speed from your router Its 8mb (or there abouts...)
I'm guessing someone at plusnet needs to 'upgrade' my account....?
If someone could I'd be eternally grateful  Cheesy

I took a look though all the service messages within my account it looks like someone has requested my line to upgraded to 21CN on the 18th so Happy Days.

Hi Chris,
your speed profile should automatically update once the upgrade goes through. It has been known not to occasionally, so, if that's the case, you could give support a call or drop us a line on here.
