Apologies if this has been asked before but i couldnt see anything relating to my query.
I moved to Plusnet in september, have had no problems accessing the internet on my ipad and iphone but 3 times i have tried using my laptop, windows 8 and only once have i been able to get online. The laptop is showing as being connected but i get a message saying limited connectivity even though its fine on ipad.
I tried logging into router but get the 'this page cant be displayed' message.
I connected the laptop using wireless initially, should i have connected it to the router using cable? Sorry i'm not techy minded but cant understand why i can get on with apple products fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,
Either should be fine to be honest, however speeds will always be better over an ethernet connection.
It sounds like the issue could be that the laptop or the wifi adapter is of an older standard than the other devices and may not be connecting using the same frequency for that reason.
